Beyond the presidency, Mr. Hoover had a distinguished career. You mentioned one aspect. I will add another. He chaired the post war "Commission on Organization of the Executive Branch of the Government." This was an important review of our federal government's organization and resulted in many significant changes. The commission is commonly known as "The First Hoover Commission."
