the Patriot Act has got to go... excesses of government goons from ATF, FBI, Customs, CIA, etc., may ... create such a stink around it that an outraged citizenry demands its repeal.

Gov't insiders have gotten smarter in ways to combat outraged citizenry.

If you read "VOTESCAM" and other investigative reports into the last 20 years of fake national polling and vote-counting fraud, it isn't hard to believe the majority of the citizenry is outraged, but mute.

Criminal secrecy in voting fraud and official sanctioned secrecy in media management in the name of nat'l security keeps a lid on that outrage. Several reports from Oct 26th events nationally showed anomalies, but always in the direction of lower estimates of turnout, as much as 1000%. Even esteemed so-called leftist NPR radio reported 10,000 turnout in DC when it was 100,000. They apologized later, after the damage was done. Gee, no one could seem to figure out how that happened. All networks underreported the numbers, and the mistakes coincidentally were always in the direction of minimizing the demonstrations. It's now down to a science -- use leftist outlets, lie during the events, then apologize.

The 60's-type media-savvy protesters that were around in the first Gulf War are still there but have been pretty much neutralized by these new techniques
