Immi: great thread you've started. To add/clarify John's question: i.e.<Don't forget Gates requires Mead and has backed him>: has Gates invested, and, if so, in what company and how much? Incidentally, I found you via the dpreview -which is a must-have URL, for anyone interested in what is happening in digital photo world. Subscriptio is free and it is a nice, restrained website, with minimal popup and other such nuisances.In addition to searching for investing info about Foveon, I am also looking into 2 other companies/technoligies referred to by Phil Askey - SIGMA, the makers of the first camera utilizing Foveon's X3 technology and PRETEC.
