TURKEY CONDEMNS TERRORIST ATTACKS IN THE US President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit conveyed their condolences to the US President Bush condemning the terrorist attacks and stating that Turkish nation felt the pain of the American people. After the attacks, Ecevit met with his deputies, representatives from the Office of the Chief of the General Staff and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Meanwhile, the National Security Council (MGK) held an extraordinary meeting to evaluate the developments. Ecevit said that they were following the developments very closely.
