Zonder, I was just invading Saudi Arabia in my fantasy. Which would the Arab street find worse--saudi arabia with the holy places or Iraq. None of this is happy thoughts but the short term causes of 9/11(and all terror) must be resolved before anything long term can be accomplished. How would Europe react to the fall of the House of Saud under US pressure without US military? What if the US/Brit trained military took over as an interim step prior to some democratic reforms. mike
