Do you need to be reminded that the so-called "axis of evil" included Iran, which has had nothing whatsoever to do with any killing of any civilians to mention? They have been keeping pretty much to themselves, You seem to be forgetting the Karine A affair. Iran sold 50 tons of weapons to Arafat. He purchased these weapons using $10 million given by the Europeans to the Palestinians. If the ship had not been intercepted the weapons would have been used for killing Jews. Iran also backs Hezbollah (which they also helped found) as well as Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Although it is in the early stages, Iran is also believed to be developing a covert nuclear weapons program. They have also purchased ballistic missile technology from North Korea. It remains to be seen whether or not reformist elements in their government along with a discontented public will shift the country towards modernity and away from terrorism
