"Samsung introduced its first DVD player on the American market last November, almost at the same time as market leaders Toshiba and Matsushita. The new model has been improved by reducing the previous four chipsets to one and including a Dolby AC-3 decoder which means the player can be connected to an ordinary analog amplifier without the help of an AC-3 amp chip. "
