Are you saying that if a foreign power attempted to take part of Canadian national territory, you not expect the Canadian army and Canadian civilians to resist?

We are not denied gun ownership. We register them. You register your car. Yes, if the US tries to take part of Canada we'd use our guns. Just before a laser guided daisycutter hit me, I'd shoot myself.

Seriously though...I'm not sure where you're going with the logic in the post.

Guns are registered here because they are weapons that can be used for crime and presently are untraceable. The idea is to get some form of a grip on that. I don't have a problem with it. That is why I registered my guns.

Several years ago, there was an altercation in the neighbourhood and I reported the dometic violence to the police. One thing the constable asked me was, Do you know if their are guns in the house? Presumably he was interested in salvaging his own ass before going to the door. Made sense to me but then again, my sons a cop and it wasn't hard for me to relate to the fact that I wouldn't want my son step into a bullet either.

Remember...we can own all the guns we want. Just....obey the laws.

Regards
C
