moominoid (interesting name), are you using any historical examples of multi-year bear mkt rallies to compare against? I was looking for some... the problem is that in the US, the bear mkts were periods of tight money supply. I had to look to japan, but I really hate to do that because they have so many cultural issues, it really is apples and oranges vs. the US economy. Lizzie
