Most of the ill-will towards America in the Muslim world stems from and is fuelled by its unconditional support of Israel against Palestinians. Sure, Clinton wasted the last year of his presidency trying to create a Palestinian state because we support Israel "unconditionally". We all know that the Arab states have focused with obsessive paranoia on Israel since it was created. In fact Nasser blamed the US for Egypt's losing the 1967 war, and back then the US didn't sell Israel any arms at all! Do you think that the Arab states would have acquired a working ideology if Israel hadn't existed? If not, what would they use for an excuse?
