I don't like Lott and that statement didn't exactly endear me to him. Somebody who has been a public figure as long as him should know by now that it is a good idea to think about what you're saying before you talk. A few more statements like that from prominent Republicans and there will be a major shift back to the the Democrats, but that's politics!
