Hi Bob .. If we assume that profits surprise to the upside, why would that dictate higher stock prices? How does the dictated stock price get enforced?<g> We saw, during the dot com bubble, that profits have nothing to do with stock prices .. I believe that stock prices are more closely related to public disposable income and stock momentum than company earnings.
