Recently Redford has said that Bush and Cheney are in the pocket of corporate interests. What a crock.

Mr. Redford is a flaming hypocrite for what he did to the area where his film festival takes place. As the old joke goes, "What is the difference between an environmentalist and a rapacious developer? An environmentalist built his 10,000-square-foot second home in the mountains last year. A rapacious developer wants to do it this year." In other words, do what I say and not what I do.

As one source said, "The locals call Redford's place "a dirty river runs through it." The Horse Whisperer and media mogul Ted Turner are both green spinners. They have spun the environment into a life's work, oblivious to the consequences or the effect on the average person. Meanwhile, they live like potentates. <<
