Right, Bates was appointed a month or two ago by Bush. Doh, he's hardly going to pursue, with much conviction, the side that appointed him. Besides, it ain't over yet. Energy crisis! said Bush. What energy crisis? Where's the energy crisis today? Where'd he get that notion... hmmm I wonder... not an oil & gas lobby, surely not...
