Noel de Leon,

I can agree with points 1,3,4, and I full support solutions A. and B. Bush is doing what he can. Is it enough? That is certainly open for debate. Very tough to kill an enemy when he hides in a hole and just comes out when its dark. You have to be looking everywhere 24/7.

As for point 2. I do not disagree with you statement, but I think I am looking at a different point in regards to U.S. support for Israel. And that is the origin of the anti-western sentiment.

My point is that U.S. aid to Israel has helped mobilize the Arab population. Oil has always been a factor of course, as well as the general influence of the West, but this support of Israel by the U.S. is/was a polarizing issue.

Ask the average Arab if he supports Al-Qaeda and you find the majority do not. Ask that same Arab if he would like to see Israel destroyed and I think the honest and majority answer would be yes.

Land, religion, and jealousy, a very bad combination.

Good Luck
