How could it be when it is dominated by lawyers?!

>If you have lawyers whose intent is to keep as close to sane law as possible you eliminate the potential of misuse of law. When a system sanctions abuse of law it can only be done by people who present cases of why the original version of law has nothing to do with how in this case the law is applied.

> Searle I don't know how Mr Bush will handle this i hope as he started office which i and many others felt would give the nation a chance to return to the position it held that encompassed integrity and respect for each other and all others in the world. There was a time that this nation was revered by all other nations.

We got to that position by being a land that offered opportunity and its laws insured freedom.

We got lost in the quest for freedom where freedom started to create laws that meant less free in some areas as we were attempting to create totally free in others . When people do not obey laws you have people who legally are not responsible for actions that maim people. Some where the original purpose of those laws was to insure we all were all virtually free. Some how by letting these laws slip into numerous exception rulings we started to lose our morals as well as ethics that helped this nation become a great nation.
