MPV market cap,...has a trick in it,...
Fully diluted MPV has about 68 million shares out but 16 million are owned by a wholly owned subsidiary of MPV,...so effectively there are only 52 million shares of MPV out there as those that own the 52 million also own the 16 million. $1.62 x 52 million is $CDN 84 million market cap.
The problem with SUF's diamond portfolio is we still haven't got a clue if they can produce from Klipspringer fissures and make a profit,...and all we do is hurry up and wait for Camafuc@#a. I'd say the diamonds are worth zero at this time, and the market is undervaluing the PGM resource by some multiple of the current share price, but who can blame them as we don't have a income statement yet that proves this is profitable either. SUF still has something to prove, and if they do we should get a good reward.
So hurry up and wait!!!
As far as Nortel, a glance at the financial statements show they have 10 Billion in annual sales and less than 10 billion in net balance sheet debt if everyone pays their bills to NT. Sales look to be stabilizing (rate of decline was very low last quarter) and staff reductions are improving the income statement. As WiFi and WLAN seem to be the way the world is going very quickly, and this is one of NT key areas of development and sales, it may no longer be appropriate to make NT the butt of our stock market jokes. Humans appear to be proceeding towards an "always on", data and voice linked society. Once the transmitters, networks, and storage, are put in place by companies like NT, our laptops and cellphones should morph onto and into our clothes, and perhaps bodies too,...and we will be on our way to becoming the borg,... hopefully without the Queen, and hopefully with free will intact (ggggggg) (already happening in the US army,..only a matter of time before adoption by business looking for an edge). |
