Let's just thank God we have Rumsfeld instead of a liberal like McNamara. McNamara has the blood of 58,000 Americans on his hands. McNamara and LBJ, taken alone, are sufficient reason we should NEVER have elected another Democrat as president.

You are happy that Rumfield is in power? His vision of how the war in Afghanistan should have been fought looks to have enabled OBL and his highest members to get away. Had we had more troops in place, its more likely escape routes would have been better guarded and OBL et al would have been caught.

No wonder Rumsfield kept saying capturing OBL was not important.
