Could it be the START of something else this time? Additions/Deletions from Nasdaq100 out on December 13. If they are doing a major overhaul to get rid of the VTSS, <<AMCC types---that could spell trouble for the NDX.

They are expected to move the NDX100 a bit away from technology to Nasdaq banks etc...
I bet the additions' market caps are much larger than the deletions.
That means into a reduction in weighting of the remaining stocks....translation..SELLING of these stocks.>>Interesting. The announcement is 12/13,Friday.
Is the picking of what will be out and in all guess work until the announcement?
BTW imagine if 2.7 years ago saying that AMCC and VTSS were going to be dumped:) I just read, this is a good measure of the total madness going on , and that is that AVCI and CORV at one point had a market caps greater than General Motors.( they are now being considered obsolete---but what do we know? We know company insiders ,WS special clients and the Brokers made fortunes on these two: this is called shifting the wealth from the middleclass to the rich--you see it is a zero sum game where the rules remain, it is a good game if the rich get richer--this is not cynicism, this is the facts--really). Max p.s. BTW, the rich can get annihilated sometimes the Lipper Hedge Fund(headed by the man who was the expert adviser for the movie "WallStreet")it is liquidating, as it's 4 billion dollar in assets has shrunk in a blink by at least 40%, all sorts of stink.Clients were mostly all Hollywood powers).
