As for Anthrax, please remember that to the extent anything is known about the source of the mailed anthrax in US, it was most probably American.

Aside from that, nobody knows who is responsible for the Anthrax scare (Not really an epidemic. How many people were killed? You think that would be all if it were a real terrorist attack?) but the last I know is that the FBI was focusing on one Dr. Steven Hatfill as a suspect.

Yes that is what I am saying, because even Bush cannot be so dumb as to launch nuclear hell on millions of civilians AND risk a fallout on neighbours, including but by no means limited to Israel, in the meanwhile. Oops, you did not think about that, did you Mike? <ggg>

There will never EVER be support in the US for another nuclear attack. I am talking about self-image, not "image in the eyes of others", here.
As for others, I feel it is pretty well established by now that nuclear arms are for threatening others with only. Nobody is dumb enough to unleash nuclear destruction on the innocent civilians of another country, incinerating children, poisoning air and water for years to come. By the way, it is clearly FORBIDDEN in international treaties (not that Bush gives a hoot about those).
You might like to remember that quite a few Muslim countries have nukes as well. How do you think they will feel at the death of several million of their Muslim brothers at the hands of "the devil America"? Once nukes start flying, you can kiss New York and Washington goodbye.... Then run!

For what? 10 anthrax victims at home? Or are you suggesting that if Saddam uses chemicals to fight off American invaders who fall off from hellicopters into his backyard, the proper response would be for America to nuke his country to kingdom come?
