Using your analogy, wouldn't we be right to conclude God doesn't exist? No, you can't prove the non-existence of an entity, it is logically impossible... therefore, you cannot rightly conclude that God doesn't exist... from this, you can only conclude that we know nothing, or very little, about what God may be...
