I see... Now, check the NDX action on the 5-15 min chart out of 12/9 low. It looks like it made a passable 3-3-5 grinding overlapping advance into today's high. Looks like it is positioned for an acceleration down. This would fit in with your SPX alternate, which I believe is still viable. NDX actually has a neater pattern. Strength in AM would be an argument for the bulls. Interesting juncture. Mr. Market will tell us tomorrow what it's gonna be... edit: Why did I say 3-3-5? Can be seen as 5-3-5, with the first leg up topping yesterday at 2 PM.
