Ok so about six months before she fell ill, we met for lunch at La Goulue in New York City. We both had cheese soufle and salad. She was much different that I thought she would be. She had green eyes, though I think they were contacts, she was vereee petite, long long blond hair in a pony tail like Barbara Eden and was so much fun we had no business laughing like that in such a swank place. It was a riot. She talked of meeting Len Grasso, she hoped one day she would, and how much she loved her cat and her loves. I miss her wit, her cynicism, but most of all her kind heart and her measure.

For those of you who know him Stan Schroeder is very sick now and I ask if you do know him and recall his wit and wisdom, especially calling stock plays, pray for him.
