David Re... think the bleeding hearts will always be failed leaders because they can't comprehend that peace and relief of human suffering come through strength and wise use of power, while war and pain are caused by a weak leader like Carter squandering the power he has.

I have no idea why you are disturbed by what Jimmy Carter said. Jimmy said that GW's goals were good but he wouldn't have gone to war to obtain those goals. Gee, isn't that exactly why Jimmy got the Nobel, but was a terrible president. He had good goals, but lacked the competence to get the job done. I would be more worried if he said GW was executing properly, but had terrible goals. By Jimmy saying he wouldn't have done it that way, isn't he actually saying GW is doing it right?
