AJ, Those fake Compusa auctions are a pain in the butt. Nothing ever goes cheap there, they administer them so they all end up profitable. Ebay is doing OK, if they can stop sniping permanently their average price will get a lot better. It must be the fact that high up shareholders in Ebay are collectors who snipe themselves that keps sniping a permitted method. In Germany they stopped it with a quiet period of so many minutes before them let the auction end. That allows people do watch and up their bid....just like in real life. members.cox.net Bill
