hmm. its not hard for the Israelis (mark, i didnt say jews bc there are non-Israeli jews as well) to beat the arabs in 5 wars as they received and continue to receive tremendous military support. they've been getting $3b a year and recently asked for more!

lmran, for most of those wars there was a little entity called the USSR that was supplying the other side. In 1967 the combined Arab armies outnumbered Israel in both men and arms by about 3 to 1. The Soviets thought that their Arab client states would win the war, and started the crisis by egging Syria on with false intelligence information. Furthermore, at that time the US did not supply Israel with any arms; the Israelis were flying French jets, strange as that sounds now. We began to supply Israel to counterbalance the Soviet supply to the Arabs. It was a Cold War thing.
