Urban Outfitters, Inc. announced that it expects to report third quarter earnings per share in the range of $0.38 to $0.40. Wall Street analysts on average were expecting the Company to report earnings per share of $0.37 for the same period, according to Multex. The Company cited strong sales throughout the quarter, reflecting positive response to its fall and winter fashion offerings and accompanying operating leverage as the primary reasons for its increased expectation.
