If this business of a "clash of civilizations" interests you in any serious sense, I highly recommend you pick up a paperback copy of Huntington's book that includes that phrase in the title.

Tek argued here, not long ago, that Huntington was among the three or four most influential political scientists of the past century. Not a bad recommendation to take to the bookstore.
