Right. Lott is a slave to his audience. "Power sharing" anyone? Yet at his core, I think he believes in this Jim Crow segregationist notion even though the truth is self-evident, that all men are created equal. It's precisely because of the Dixiecrats and people who support them that government supports the racist doctrine of Affirmative Action today. After Lott and Daschle, it's time to give someone with integrity, strength and vision a chance to run the Senate. Is Don Nickles that man? Let's hope so.
