You are grabbing at straws trying to make a criminal into something besides a criminal. Dreams & BS! If a mugger pulls a knife on you and you see the blade shine-- it certainly would be plastic, right? As impossible as your dream sounds,, well the perp can rob or hurt no one else,, give him a medal no matter! He deserves a reward just for saving the cost of courts and jail..
