I must go against the flow here.

My 2 cents worth.

I think your idea to take a picture and go into that store, has a noble background for those of us who might like a confirmation as to it being Tim, beyond what was said to be confirmed by the police investigator.

Of course taking a picture into that jewelry store would serve those of us with a curious nature.

but we are forgetting the more important part of the puzzle.

Do we want to potentially traumatize the store owner/employee all over again?? They shooter is already living with the fact that they have killed a man.
So to put a picture of the dead man in his face again, to satisfy our curiosity, seems to me to serve no real purpose.

I also think the idea of "acting like a reporter" is totally unethical, and self serving.

Let the store owner alone. This can't be easy.
