I know next to nothing about it. I didn't fight in Vietnam. I can't even begin to fathom what our men had to endure. However, the Phoenix program brings up some interesting concepts...and I do not feel that it is justifiable to do whatever the hell you want just because you are in combat in a country....that was Hitler's regime and should not be our regime. I wonder if some of our atrocities were really that different than some of Hitler's - large scale terrorism, rape and mass murder. I don't condone what Tim did. However, I find sadness in it and the circumstances. I have that ability.
