There are several books on the incident. You should read a few, research the net, and ask for the info under the FOIA. Get the facts for once in your life. Do it on your own,, if stuck on research then ask for help but get official info-- maybe you will then ask different questions. Some ask if Calley was a scapegoat. Others ask just how much of the incident is true and how much is fiction. There are several explainations of the cause of the start-- you may even have a different one. The war is over--- some info has been released and declassified as it was ALL Supposed to be years ago. Did you ever wonder WHY McCain wants the info buried until his children are old or dead? Do you wonder if he has anything to hide? Since you were not there many years can be spent in research and you will still only have a portion of the the facts and it will be more difficult to sererate the fact from the BS.
