I would not notice the date, were it not for a) the statics re Max Pain levels (sure sign the witching day is getting close) b) the dance of planets mentioned Otherwise ... re Au jump yesterday - could it be something like some new Al Qaida connection to Iraq or (gulp) "Microsoft warns of new Vulnerabilities in Windows";\... anyhow, the 7$ rise was quite steep and, seen from far away, a thing of an hour or two (lunch time in US).
