I looked at Case Quote. The problem with Case Quote, DBC (their Internet service), Interquote, and other newcomers is that their software is very, very immature compared to RealTick III. I couldn't live with their limited charting and (for some of these) pretty severe limitations on how many stocks you can follow at once.

Also, I am addicted to a very unusual RealTick III chart, that I don't even think that Townsend anticipated being used the way I am using it. I use the Time & Sales chart, which I think was meant as a kludgey way to get a Time and Sales report. (By double-clicking to get the report.) I drop the size fields (which make no sense on a chart) and get a nice tick chart with bid and offer "envelope".

I find this in most cases much more informative than Level II in telling me where a stock is going intra-day, because it allows me to see graphically the changes in the bid and offer.
