I always get that somewhat uncomfortable feeling while out for a hike and I encounter a large standing tree snag that has been mauled by a bear to the height of about 10 feet or so above the ground... especially when the claw marks are recent, and even more so when I see some fresh scat on the trail. Fortunately, the bears out this way tend to disappear lumber off into the forest at the first sight, sniff or sound of approaching hikers, so very few people see them around. They're there though, if you watch for signs of their passage.

I like the dream about Myers. I've had some very odd dreams lately. Must post one or two sometime soon.
