There is a risk/benefit assessment that needs to be made. What I do find unconscionable are the people who condem the idea of war while denying or avoiding making this risk/reward assessment.

Iran and N. Korea, the other 2 in the Axis have WMD and we know/knew it.

The Administrations's policy lacks:

proprotionality, logic, consistency, evidence, sound arguments, .

Korea HAS WMD but we will pursue Diplomacy.
Iran has WMD, our policy is:_____________.

Deterrence worked with the Soviet Union for years.
Pakist and and India are deterring each other fine.

BTWay, WMD stockpile in Old Russia are at risk of contamination and/or falling into the wrong hands.

Because Of these facts, my risk/reward scenario goes like this:

Until I beleive the ever changing estimations of this Administration I am not willing to risk one life. Soldiers must not die because of folly, fuzzy thinking or everchanging motives.

Finally, the implementation skills of this Administration is poor.
Look at how they have handled this whole thing since August.
Did they not project that Saddam would use every skill to avoid entrapment? The delivery of the 11,00o pages should have been forseen. The Administration looks inept.

Good thing they are covering the news cycle with this Lott crap. Notice how Iraq is down to the 3rd or 4th lead?
As far as Lott goes, he is being sacrificed to keep the public's mind off the Eleven-thousand-page-document fiasco and clean-up some personel risks from big mouths.. And please, who in the world is unfamiliar with Lott's stand on segregation. Why do we swallow this crap? You notice, the Dems aren't the big voices, the Republicans are.

So until the Administration makes me a believer in their rhetoric, I am unwilling to risk a single soldier's life.
