Rollcast, On the turner classic movie channel i got to catch the tail end of a great WW2 submarine war flick--Run Silent, Run Deep. The Japanese know everything this sub is doing in advance. Finally when cornered the captain breaks up some debris and along with the dead they are released into the ocean so the japanese think they sunk them. It turns out the cook was improperly weighing down the garbage and when released, personal info from the sub was getting into Japanese hands. After they think they sunk the sub Tokyo Rose announces the sinking and the names of many in the crew. So when a propagandist comes on this thread and skillfully uses double talk to embarras her opponents and make her point over and over--i did for the minute think of Tokyo Rose telling us Americans why we should should not die to fight saddam who offers no threat to us at all. etc etc. blah blah. Siren call of the left. If we had listened during the Cold War, Europe would be part of the Warsaw pact today as they expanded westward. Where was Tokyo Rose originally from? Miami too I bet? Did she also sleep with the fishes(I mean dolphins).<ggg> Mike
