That is excellent. Thanks so much. In Orlando, Orlando as a man is appalled by violence and killing. And as a woman says that if she were a man (which she has been of course) that she might not want to kill. That freedom won by killing might not be worth having. I can't remember if I remember that from the book of the movie or both. But it impressed me.

Orlando is such a mind bending book and movie. I like the idea that you would be the same person, no matter what sex you are. I don't think it is true, but I like the idea. Ideas though, do not have gender- so one could certainly still be the same person in terms of one's ideas.

I loved Mrs. Dalloway also. A new movie has been done on Woolf and her work- I can't wait to see it.
