Wait a darn minute, I'm not that old and I seen this twice!! Early '70's and '87. Both were "Just buy stock it goes up" and "This a new market" each with their messiah trading methods. Any Elliot Wave Theorist out there???? Indexing led it up, indexing will lead it down. The new age "Momentum" style will get shelved with the rest of the cornball theories of yore. The most interesting comment I saw today was from MSFT, they think that their stock is too expensive. To prove it, they didn't buy anyback last Q. I wonder if the good ole boys in Austin are buying any of Dell stock back.
