i think this is because the results recently are proving what i've thought for a long while, and that is, to invest in businesses that make, sell, or process goods or services are subject to competition and obsolescence, so that by the time the average person thinks they are worth investing in, they are wrong and too late...another point is that most of us would be extremely reluctant to actually start a business of any sort...headaches galore, wages, benefits, rules, taxes, oh my my...not worth the trouble...might as well have a day job or trade stocks...and you are on something here, it seems that every time i try to play a non gold (or oil recently, i like suncor), i seem to get whacked... |
