First of all, it was Rob S who posted that, not I. Secondly, do you feel we are justified nuking Iraq if they use nerve gas?

I think it is critical that the president retain the option to do so; else the deterrent effect of nuclear weapons is nonexistent.

The likelihood of using a nuke when we much better weapons is exceptionally low.

The United States, since 1990, has been the first nation on earth to give a damn about civilian casualties. Today, it is highly unlikely we would take out civilians, intentionally, under ANY circumstances.

This is the greatest advantage of massive military strength. You can kill military targets without harming innocents. Thank Reagan and Bush 41.
