Hello everyone...

I thought I'd repost my statement over here in case others don't follow the other threads going on right now about Tim. I've spoken to Patricia via the phone and we're both very shocked. I miss you all when I check in on SI and think back to a very special time not only for the market, but for the friendship we shared. Remember that............ and it was because of Tim.

Whether Tim’s actions were directed at suicide or a desperate attempt to get money, I think all of us who “knew” him wish he had contacted just one of us before reaching such a low. I don’t know if I could have helped, but I certainly would have tried. I would never say that I knew Tim well, though I chatted with him in a group forum for more than a year during our trading days. He went through his normal pendulum swings between exhilaration, irritation, anger, and at the end, depressive as the result of personal life events and the decline of the market. Tim was a friend of mine, as much of one that you could be via the internet. Do any of us really know each other in this curious electronic environment? All I know are the words I read, day after day, on the boards or in the form of a PM. I’d play some of his picks and pass on others. That was up to me. To this day, I don’t regret our relationship, personally or monetarily, and I will miss him. He kept a boring day interesting and a great day of trading even more exhilarating.

To those that have posted hateful entries all day, every day, I’ve gotten over my anger at your insensitivity. Obviously, you all enjoy the residual effects of your statements, with the main intent to derive confrontation for skewed, slated entertainment. Dull life? I’d take that over a malevolent one.
