Let's see if I could put it into better perspective... the Democrats thrive on misery and want all groups to think they're being oppressed, the Democrats thrive on bad news... any time blacks get ahead of the game, they're blamed for "selling out to the whites," which is an insult to those who succeed, i.e., Rice and Powell... Harry Belafonte referred to Powell as the "boy living in the master's house," I frankly resent that comment and I think it reflects a distorted view of the greatness and brilliance of Powell's stature... Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Waters, and the rest of that group want the blacks to feel victimized for the political benefit of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Waters... I don't know if I'm making myself clear, but the point is that many of the so called black leaders are sending a negative message to their target audience...
