Its possible all the wealth that gets generated in these mkts winds up in our equity mkts too

Very possible, but the key to this is that TRUST in the US markets has to remain, right now, at best it is shaky. A foolish war, or excessive policing and zeal in the pursuit of exclusively US agenda in the eyes of the world would break the US financial/fiscal system as it would become prohibitively expensive. We have to avoid tht at all costs... otherwise the chaos many speak of will become reality
