stomper, Apple's new operating system does not crash. They have developed a software and maybe some hardware is involved capability that applications developers can use so the applications do no crash. I am sure it will be a while until all the software developers get the products to the no crash level. I think Apples idea of the stores is an attempt to sell to people like you. I have been at the one at the Mall of America and when I am in the Southdale area will stop in at their new store there. The 23 inch HD resolution monitor is unbelievable.
