So if gold continues to move up, what price level do you see in 6 months to a year? Would somewhere near $350 be in the ball park? Even though opening a new gold mine, such as in parts of Africa, involves a major capital expenditure and a lot of time, existing mines that are already in production could easily ramp up production to take advantage of higher prices. That's why I believe there has to be some limit. As to investments, for the moment I'm concentrating on FCX and FCX preferred "B" shares, which pay a dividend directly tied to the price of gold.
