Just got back. Let's all become more issue oriented. The accusations will inhibit intelligent discussion. I have seen nothing seditious in Z's posts and the banter is becoming a pain-in-the-ass. I have learned a great deal from people on this thread, and hope that continues. If we all agreed, there would be no point to the discussion. In fact, among my criticisms of religion is that forced sharing of assumptions is a requirement to be in the group. BTW, one of the reasons I have stressed the role of religion is my belief that many share my view but won't go public. I am sick of the sanctimonious religious platitudes of politicians. I'm waiting to hear proposals that would advance the causes of peace and safety. I have a few more, but want to hear from you guys. fred
