Sorry John, your explanation was a bit too vague.

Just because (as you assumed) Kissinger and Mitchell have significant and normal business relations with the Saudis, it shouldn't lead to both the Chair and Vice-Chair quitted the important jobs for the Americans and the nation just after a few days accepted the posts.

If of course, those relations are not normal or the former head(s) even has relations with other interest groups that can not be disclosed or touched during the 9/11 investigation, then the 9/11 victims' families and the American people want to know who they really are first.
