Gore is becoming the anti-Clinton. Something tells me he desperately wants to run, and believes he could win, but is putting what he sees as the party's good ahead of his own needs. The polar opposite of Clinton's modus operandi, talented though he was.

Gore just went up several notches in my estimation. He could have had that nomination if he'd demanded it.
